From beer bashes to pool parties to midweek beats on the creek, there are plenty of delicious ways to explore the four corners of Denver this week. Here are our picks for some of the best of the bunch.

Aug. 14: Motown Mondays @ Millers & Rossi

Location: Millers & Rossi 3542 Walnut St., Denver

Every Monday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., drink and pizza specials abound at this RiNo hot spot—and it’s the only time you can get a pie at this cocktail lounge. That means $3 Montuckys, $5 Fernet, $8 cocktails, Fernet swag, and one helluva dance party, as DJ Danny Boy brings back a lost era of music, one record at a time so you can burn off the cheesy calories on the dance floor.

Aug. 15: Beats on the Creek @ Cohills Restaurant and Bar

Location: Coohills Restaurant and Bar1400 Wewatta St. Denver

On Tuesdays in August, Coohills sets up a summer concert series on the bridge over Cherry Creek in LoDo, and it’s always a good time—and it supports local nonprofit The Cottonwood Institute with your $5 admission. This week, the beats come from Mr. Majestyk’s 8 Track Revival—a fiercely talented eight-piece cover-song playing tracks from the ’70s you know and love. And on that bridge above the creek, Cohills sets up bars where you can procure cocktails, beers, wine, and whatnot. The restaurant itself opens at 4:30 p.m. on concert nights, and the bar area’s open seating is first-come, first-serve. Patio tables require a reservation, and that reservation will secure your spot for the evening—as long as you commit to a $65 per person minimum spend. You can find more details here.

Aug. 16: Luau Wine Dinner on the Patio @ Rioja

Location: Rioja1431 Larimer St, Denver

At 6:30 p.m., the monthly wine dinner at the award-winning chef Jen Jasinski’s signature restaurant pairs dishes like scallop crudo, ruby red grapefruit, sea beans, and oyster cream emulsion with Huia Sauvignon Blanc and coconut lemon grass-brined pork and crispy chicharrones with Huia Pinot Noir. The cost is $125 per person—guaranteed by the impeccable Chef Jen Jasinski to be worth every penny. Reserve your seat via Tock.

Aug. 17: Mom Juice Colorado Launch Party @ Nurture, A Wellcare Marketplace

Location: Nurture, A Wellcare Marketplace 2949 Federal Blvd.

Mom Juice is a Denver-based brand making wine in Napa—and it’s blowing up. Produced by KT Winery, the BIPOC-woman-owned company is focused on shifting wine culture and building community, and people are taking notice. You may have caught wind of the brand on The Today Show or seen the wines on Bravo’s Real Housewives of the Potomac. Now, they’re ready to celebrate. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the founders are coming out and “popping the corks, shaking up the shakers, and inviting you the ultimate launch party extravaganza.” What’s the reason behind the fête, you ask? New partnerships with the likes of Bonnie Brae, Lukas Liquors, Applejacks, and Bubbles. And what does that fête entail, exactly? Mom Juice cocktails, delish bites, and a fun party honoring moms who deserve an thedairy.orgevening out. Tickets are free, but you’ve gotta let them know you’re coming on Eventbrite so they make sure there’s enough juice for you.

Aug. 19: Sloan’s Lake Beer Fest @ 16th & Raleigh

Location: Sloan’s Lake Beer Fest – 1610 Raleigh St. Denver

The 2023 beer fest tour continues—and this week, it’s taking you back in time to the 1970s for an afternoon that the organizers promise will be nothing but far out good vibes. Dress in your disco best and get down with unlimited samples from 15+ breweries, cideries, and canned cocktails. Once your properly buzzed, hit the dance floor for a 70s disco dance party with Something Vinyl Club. Street food, food trucks, photo booths, games, and a costume contest are also on the agenda. Aug. 20: Poolside Sundaze @ The Jacquard

Location: The Jacquard, Autograph Collection 222 Milwaukee St.

RiNo-based The Block Distilling Co. is taking over the Jacquard Hotel rooftop in Cherry Creek and opening it up to the public for a pool party—TBDC style. This means there will be style and class sprinkled with some shenanigans. They’ll be pouring summer cocktail specials featuring TBDC booze created in collaboration with the Jacquard, and DJ Pruitt will be providing the beats. The party goes from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and is the perfect way to pass a late summer day. Get in the pool while you still can. Reserve your spot for free on Eventbrite
