Good Magic

Although the three sisters behind Shine in Boulder closed the restaurant in July, their nourishing potions live on as ready-to-drink, canned concoctions. Shine’s ingredient list is mostly devoid of refined sugars, artificial flavorings, and preservative-laden mixers, and instead touts all-natural fruit juices, herbs, and botanicals. “Shine potions are [made with] brewed adaptogenic herbs and organic juices and then dosed with the energetics of gem essences, flower essences, and sound frequencies,” says co-founder Jill Emich. “They were created not only as a deeply nourishing tonic but also as a ‘mindful mixer’ to combine with spirits.”
